My 14-month-old figured out she can drop a ball down one tube and watch it pop out the other end, and now she does it over and over. The acrylic is thick enough that I don't worry when she bangs them together, and the soft over-molded edges mean no sharp plastic against her gums.

The over-molded rubbery rim is a lifesaver because my 18-month-old chews on everything and these haven't scratched once. She'll sit there tilting a tube back and forth watching the beads roll for a solid ten minutes, which honestly never happens with her other toys.

My 2-year-old grabs these thick acrylic tubes every morning and drops marbles through them over and over. The soft-touch over-molded ends make them easy for little hands to grip, and they've survived being thrown across the room without a scratch.
