The acrylic is way thicker than I expected, so I don't worry when my two-year-old carries them around the yard. We've been using them to compare leaves and bugs we find outside, and he actually sits still to look.

My toddler has dropped these on the tile floor more times than I can count and the acrylic still looks brand new. The ladybug specimen is her favorite, she carries it around the house pointing out the spots. Great for little hands that are rough on everything.

I bought these for my three-year-old niece and she’s obsessed with staring at the tiny leaf inside the block. The acrylic feels thick and sturdy, so I don’t worry when she drops them on the floor. Just wish there were a few more pieces in the set.
