Jr. Rainbow Blocks present children with an adventure in color and light! One-third smaller than unit block size, Jr. Rainbow Blocks are a new challenge in creating structures and extending traditional block play. Smooth hardwood frames with inset, colorful, transparent acrylic windows are also ideal for color exploration and light table activities. Ages 2+.
My kids have been stacking these for hours and the way light comes through the colored pieces keeps them totally absorbed. The one-third smaller size is actually a plus since it fits their little hands better than our old set.
The smaller size compared to standard unit blocks is what sold me, they fit my son's hands way better and he can actually build taller towers without them toppling. The light shining through the colors keeps him busy way longer than I expected.
The smaller size actually makes these easier for little hands to stack than our old full-size set. My son spent an hour building a "castle" and kept holding the blocks up to the window to watch the colors change.
