Enhance your Avery Kids Desk with a beautiful and practical storage hutch. Complete with an adjustable shelf, a convenient cord cutout and a corkboard for pinning handmade art, this hutch provides room for curation and organization in children's rooms, homeschool spaces and playrooms. Desk and chair sold separately. Hutch measures 44"W x 10"D x 17"H. Assembly required.
My daughter has already filled the corkboard with her drawings, which keeps her desk from turning into a pile of loose paper. The cord cutout is a small thing but it means her lamp cable isn't dangling off the back anymore. Took maybe twenty minutes to attach to the desk.
The adjustable shelf was the selling point for me since my daughter's chapter books are all different heights, and the cord cutout keeps her tablet charger from becoming a tangled mess behind the desk. Assembly took me about twenty minutes with the included hardware.
The cord cutout was a lifesaver for keeping the lamp wire tidy, and the adjustable shelf let me fit taller art supplies underneath. My son actually hangs his own drawings on the corkboard now, which feels like a small miracle. Solid build that doesn't wobble when he's leaning on it.
