The textured tiles make it way easier for my daughter to match by touch instead of just guessing, and the canvas bag has held up through months of play. Twenty shapes is a good number too, enough variety that she hasn't gotten bored yet.
My 4-year-old plays this for ages without realizing she's learning shapes by touch alone. The canvas bag is sturdier than I expected, and the textured tiles make it easy for her little brother to join in too.
The wooden pieces are satisfyingly chunky for little hands, and the textured tiles make the matching game more challenging than just guessing by shape alone. My son loves digging through the canvas bag to find the right piece without peeking, and the set has held up well to daily play.
