Took this on a creek walk with my niece and we filled three compartments before we even made it home. The tweezers are sturdy enough for her to grab beetles without squishing them, which was my main worry. She's been checking on her snail every morning like it's a pet.
The magnifying lids on each compartment make it so easy for my kids to get a close look at whatever they’ve collected, and the tweezer set is surprisingly handy for tiny bugs. We’ve already used it three times this week on walks around the neighborhood.
I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the magnifying lids are—my four-year-old has dropped this thing three times already and nothing's cracked. The seven compartments hold a nice variety of finds, and the tweezers actually work well for picking up tiny pebbles and seed pods.
