My 2-year-old can finally reach her own books instead of pulling everything off the top shelf, which has cut down the daily mess a ton. The tiered shelf is deep enough that the bigger picture books don't tip forward, and the bench part holds up fine when she climbs on it.

The tiered shelf keeps board books spine-out so my twins actually pick them instead of dumping the whole bin. It's low enough that my 3-year-old climbs on it like a seat, which I didn't expect but don't mind. Storage and a reading spot in one piece of furniture is a win in our tiny playroom.

My 18-month-old can finally reach her own board books thanks to the tiered shelves, and she pulls them out and puts them back without any help from me. The storage space underneath swallows all the random toys that used to live on the floor.
