The possibilities of discovery are multiplied when rich variables are at children's fingertips. The Container Play Toddler Loose Parts STEM Kit is a laboratory of opportunity uniquely designed to inspire children to experiment and explore while encouraging the development and strengthening of a child's spatial awareness and fine motor skills. Children 18 months and up can use the various wooden and felt balls, rings, and nesting components as they develop object and texture relationships through construction and deconstruction. Contents or colors may vary. Each kit includes a compartmentalized felt tray that can be used to store and organize pieces.

My two-year-old has ignored every fancy toy we own, but she sat with these loose parts for almost an hour just opening and closing the containers. I love that there's no right or wrong way to play with it, so it grows with her instead of getting boring.

The little sorting cups and mixed bits have totally changed our afternoons — my toddler will sit there filling, dumping, and re-sorting without needing me to entertain her. The pieces are the perfect size for chubby hands, and honestly I've caught myself playing with the set too.

My two-year-old spent almost an hour sorting the little wooden balls and rings into the compartments, which is a miracle for her attention span. The loose parts are chunky enough that I'm not worried about her mouthing them, and the open-ended setup means she keeps finding new ways to play with it.
